The winner, who is a regular weekly player of both LOTTO and POWERBALL, was pleasantly shocked by the news and checked their winning numbers three times after receiving a notification from the bank confirming their jackpot victory.
Despite their life-changing luck, the winner plans to continue working, with the possibility of retiring earlier. A portion of the winnings will be donated to a charity. Their first planned indulgence is a romantic dinner for two at a nice restaurant. The second lucky winner is the latest multi-millionaire from the LOTTO PLUS 2 Draw 2420, which took place on Wednesday, 16 March, 2024. This “Make it rain lots of cash this March” winner scooped a life-changing jackpot of R13,461,673.40, having played through the Nedbank online banking platform.
