The Botswana Supply Chain Summit 2025, co-hosted by SAPICS, will be held in Gaborone on 22–23 October, focusing on innovation, trade corridors and skills development in Africa’s logistics sector.

The Botswana Supply Chain Summit (BSCS) returns for its second year from 22 to 23 October 2025 at the Gaborone International Conference Centre (GICC).

Co-hosted by SAPICS, Africa’s leading supply chain and operations management professional body, the summit will run under the theme “Innovate. Integrate. Impact”, reflecting its focus on skills, innovation and regional growth.

Driving Supply Chain Excellence in Africa

The two-day event will unite supply chain professionals, policymakers, industry leaders and investors from across Southern Africa and beyond. The agenda will explore strategies for procurement transformation, regional trade corridors, supply chain financing, infrastructure investment and innovation in logistics.

Panel discussions will feature CEOs, experts and government leaders, with a spotlight on trade routes such as the Trans-Kalahari Corridor. Case studies and masterclasses will showcase procurement innovation and supply chain resilience, while SAPICS-led technical sessions will provide professional development opportunities.

An exhibition of the latest logistics and supply chain solutions will complement the conference, making the summit a prime platform for learning, networking and collaboration.

Who Should Attend

The organisers encourage wide participation, particularly from:

  • Public procurement officers and infrastructure authorities
  • Trade, transport and regional integration stakeholders
  • Parastatals, corporates and SMEs
  • Development partners and investors

According to SAPICS, the summit is an essential opportunity for stakeholders to share knowledge, collaborate and strengthen Africa’s supply chain ecosystem.

Botswana’s Role in Regional Supply Chains

The BSCS 2025 theme “Innovate. Integrate. Impact” highlights Botswana’s commitment to positioning itself as a regional trade and transit hub. The summit reflects the country’s drive to build resilience in its logistics ecosystem, increase competitiveness and integrate with regional and global supply chain networks.

By partnering with SAPICS, the summit ensures global best practices and internationally recognised standards are incorporated, enabling Botswana and its regional partners to align with worldwide supply chain trends.

Accelerating Growth Through Collaboration

Organisers note that the Botswana Supply Chain Summit is more than a conference – it is a catalyst for innovation, collaboration and capacity building. The event aims to accelerate dialogue, strengthen regional trade frameworks and support sustainable economic growth through world-class supply chain practices.
