Intelligence Transfer Centre will host the 1st Annual EMPLOYMENT EQUITY COMMITTEES CONFERENCE at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways on 29 and 30 March 2023.
Hosting a number of renowned experts, this conference will provide a platform for a number of industry stakeholders to discuss solutions to historical and new forms of discrimination as well as current challenges in the workplace. Placing the spotlight on race, disability and gender the conference also aims to highlight the importance of equality, fairness and inclusion of all employees in both public and private sectors. Pivotal areas of discussion include manufacturing, pharmaceutical, various sectors of government and male-dominated industries.
Boasting a wealth of information, delegates will detail processes of transformation, training and skills development for personal and economic growth. They will also detail the importance of employment equity plans, how employers should meet the objectives of such plans in line with the Department of Labour’s Code of Good Practice and the steps to ensure the elimination of discrimination in the workplace.
